Types of Remedial Massages We Offer
Remedial massage
A mixture of massage strokes and trigger point therapy aims to reduce the feeling of tension, aches and pains in your muscles. This is the most popular muscle pain relief massage, which isn’t as deep as a deep tissue massage but still leaves you feeling looser and with less discomfort or pain.
This can be as gentle or as firm as you like; just let Mariana know.
Relaxation Massage
A much gentler form of massage that aims to relax and reduce stress and tension, helping you to relax and unwind from day-to-day life stresses.
Sports Massage
Designed to help you enhance your physical performance, increase flexibility, reduce stiffness, and promote faster recovery from injuries.
Deep Tissue
A deeper form of massage, that uses slow deep, and intense massage strokes, as well as trigger point therapy. It aims to get deep into the tissues and relieve the sensations of pain and tightness.
Pregnancy Massage
Using appropriate and gentle techniques, this form of massage helps a woman with the structural, psychological, and physiological changes, as well as the discomforts often associated with pregnancy.
Lymphatic Massage
Involves stimulating the lymph nodes and draining lymph fluid from the tissues to assist fluid flow throughout the body, improve circulation, and aid toxin removal.
This can be used to help treat acute injuries, such as ankle sprains, or other issues where fluid retention and swelling are an issue, such as post-surgery and cancer treatment.
